What This Tool Does

Exercise Calorie Burn Calculator estimates calories burned from weight, workout duration, activity type, and intensity multiplier, then shows hourly burn, 30-minute burn, and MET structure changes.

How to Use

  1. Enter your weight and workout duration.
  2. Choose an intensity multiplier (relaxed, standard, high, or interval).
  3. Select an activity type; if you choose Custom MET, enter the MET value.
  4. Results update automatically as inputs change, showing total burn and detailed metrics.

Calculation Method

  • Calories Burned = MET × Weight (kg) × Duration (hours) × Intensity Multiplier.
  • Hourly Burn = MET × Weight × Intensity Multiplier.
  • Burn structure uses base MET as 100% and shows the increase or decrease caused by intensity adjustment.

Use Cases

  • Daily training estimation for running, cycling, swimming, and strength sessions.
  • Calorie management during fat-loss and workout planning cycles.
  • Intensity comparison for pre- and post-workout review.

Notes

  • Results are estimates and can vary with metabolism, heart rate, temperature, and technique.
  • For long-term health tracking, combine this output with heart rate, body fat, and diet logs.
  • All calculations run locally in your browser and no input data is uploaded.
