Markdown to File converts local Markdown content into HTML, Word compatible DOC, PDF, PNG image, or plain text. It is useful for documentation delivery, blog archiving, knowledge base cleanup, and cross-platform sharing. Files are read and converted in the browser and are not uploaded to a server.

Supported Formats

You can upload .md, .markdown, and .txt files. Export formats include .html, .doc, text PDF, image PDF, .png, and .txt.

Features

After upload, the tool renders a live preview. Choose an export format and start conversion, then download the generated file. HTML and DOC preserve the rendered Markdown layout, text PDF supports selection, copy, and search, while image PDF and PNG are generated from a browser-rendered snapshot.

Notes

Image PDF and PNG export use browser rendering, so very long documents may take longer to process. Complex HTML, remote images, and special styles may not render fully when browser security rules or resource loading limits apply.
