Documentation

Markdown to PDF renders local Markdown content and exports it as a PDF. It is useful for documentation delivery, blog archiving, file sharing, printing, and report submission. Files are read and converted in the browser and are not uploaded to a server.

Supported Formats

You can upload .md, .markdown, and .txt files, then export a text PDF or an image PDF.

Features

After upload, the tool renders an MD preview. It generates a text PDF by default, or you can switch to image PDF before converting. Text PDF supports selection, copy, and search, while image PDF exports a snapshot of the preview.

Notes

Text PDF preserves headings, paragraphs, lists, blockquotes, code blocks, and basic table text. Complex visual styles and images are not preserved as screenshots. Choose image PDF when visual fidelity is required.
