The PDF Auto Rotate Correction tool reads the PDF text layer locally in your browser, detects sideways or upside-down pages from text direction, and creates a corrected PDF.

Use Cases

• Scanned contracts, invoices, or forms include sideways or upside-down pages.
• Merged PDF files contain pages with inconsistent orientation.
• Pages need to be fixed before printing, archiving, or submitting documents.

Tips

• Text-based PDFs work best because detection depends on the text layer.
• Scanned image-only pages may be marked as unknown.
• Use global mode when most pages share the same direction and unknown pages should follow the majority.

Notes

• Files are processed locally in the browser and are not uploaded.
• This tool corrects page orientation in 90-degree steps. It does not deskew scanned pages by arbitrary angles.
• Encrypted PDFs must be decrypted before processing.
