The PDF chapter split tool exports selected chapter ranges from a PDF locally in your browser. It is useful for ebooks, reports, contract attachments, scanned files, archiving, and document delivery.

Core Features

  • Upload or drag one PDF file.
  • Define multiple chapters with chapter name|page range rules.
  • Page ranges support single pages, continuous ranges, multiple ranges, reversed ranges, *, and all.
  • Preview rules before export, including page counts and first or last page.
  • Export one chapter as PDF or package multiple chapters as ZIP.
  • Read, split, and export files locally in the browser.

Steps

  1. Upload a PDF file or drag it into the tool area.
  2. Enter one chapter rule per line, such as Chapter 1|1-10.
  3. Click “Preview Rules” to verify chapter count, page count, and ranges.
  4. Choose whether pages may overlap and whether output names should include the original PDF name.
  5. Click “Start Export”, then download the generated PDF or ZIP file.

Rule Format

  • Chapter 1|1-10 exports pages 1 through 10.
  • Appendix|26,28-30 exports pages 26, 28, 29, and 30.
  • Full|* or Full|all exports every page.
  • Empty lines and lines starting with # are ignored.
  • When overlap is disabled, repeated pages stop the export.
