Documentation

The PDF Merge tool combines multiple PDF files locally in your browser and exports them in the current queue order, making it useful for contract archives, invoice bundles, scanned records, and submission packages.

Key Features

  • Add multiple PDF files and merge them in the visible queue order.
  • Move files up or down, remove them, or append more files before merging.
  • Detect encrypted PDFs and let you provide passwords per file.
  • Skip files with missing passwords, invalid passwords, or read failures without stopping the full task.
  • Generate and download the merged PDF locally.

Steps

  1. Add multiple PDF files in the Files Queue tab.
  2. Adjust the order as needed. If a file is encrypted, enter its password in the queue.
  3. Switch to the Merge Result tab, set the output file name, and start the merge.
  4. Review the merged result, skipped-file reasons, and download the final PDF.

Encrypted File Notes

  • The tool detects common encrypted PDF files automatically.
  • If an encrypted file has no password, it will be skipped during merging and the remaining files will continue.
  • If the password is incorrect, the file is marked accordingly so you can update it and merge again.

Use Cases

  • Archive contracts and supporting attachments.
  • Combine scanned pages into one PDF file.
  • Bundle invoices, reimbursement files, and vouchers for submission.
  • Export project materials, bid documents, and approval packages as one file.

Privacy

This tool reads files, tries passwords, copies pages, and exports the merged PDF locally in your browser without uploading PDF content to the server.
