PDF Text Diff Compare extracts text from two PDF files and generates line-level differences by page or for the whole document. Files are read and processed locally in the browser and are not uploaded to a server.
Features
- Upload two PDF files and view size and page count.
- Compare by page or as one full document.
- Ignore whitespace differences and case differences.
- Use OCR for scanned or low-text pages.
- Preview differences and download a full text report.
OCR Notes
When OCR is enabled, the tool recognizes pages whose extracted text is below the configured character threshold. Local language data supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English.
Use Cases
Use it for contract revision checks, thesis and report proofing, scanned document review, bid document review, archive acceptance, and other PDF text verification tasks.
Notes
Encrypted PDFs must be decrypted first. OCR output from low-resolution, skewed, or unclear scans may need manual review.
