Documentation

Main Features

  • Generate WiFi QR codes for standard wireless networks with SSID, password, hidden-network, and common encryption settings.
  • Generate enterprise WiFi QR codes with WPA2-EAP, EAP Method, Identity, and Phase 2 parameters.
  • Adjust foreground color, background color, QR size, and error correction level for print or on-screen sharing.
  • Copy the full WiFi payload string or download the QR code directly as a PNG file.
  • Everything runs locally in the browser, so your wireless credentials are not uploaded.

How to Use

  1. Switch between the Basic WiFi and Enterprise WiFi tabs at the top.
  2. Enter the SSID, then fill in the password or enterprise authentication fields required by the selected mode.
  3. Enable Hidden Network when the SSID is not broadcast by the router or controller.
  4. Adjust colors, QR size, error correction level, and the download filename on the right.
  5. The page generates the QR code automatically, then you can download the PNG or copy the raw WiFi payload.

Use Cases

  • Share home, rental, apartment, or meeting-room WiFi without typing passwords manually.
  • Set up guest WiFi at shops, events, counters, and reception desks with a scannable handoff.
  • Deliver WPA2-EAP onboarding details for office, campus, or managed enterprise wireless networks.
  • Verify whether a QR payload matches the intended network configuration during troubleshooting.

Notes

  • SSID is always required. Password is also required for every encryption mode except open networks.
  • In WPA2-EAP mode, you must choose an EAP Method and provide either an Identity value or anonymous mode.
  • If the EAP Method is PEAP, make sure the Phase 2 option also matches the target network.
  • QR support for enterprise WiFi fields can vary by scanner app, so test with the real target device before rollout.
