The Word to Markdown tool converts DOCX documents into Markdown text for technical documentation, blog migration, knowledge-base entry, and content publishing. Files are parsed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to a server.

Supported Format

The tool currently supports .docx files. Legacy .doc files are not supported. Save .doc files as .docx with Word or WPS before converting.

Features

Upload a DOCX document and start conversion to generate Markdown content. The result can be reviewed, edited, copied, or downloaded as a .md file.

Notes

Complex layouts, headers and footers, comments, text boxes, and some embedded objects may not be preserved completely. Review headings, lists, tables, and links before publishing.
